what can I do?

There are a number of ways that you can make your internet connection safer for your children.

Talk to your kids; let them know about the dangers of chat rooms and some web sites.
Keep your computer in a public area. Try not having a computer in your child’s bedroom so you can keep an eye on what they are doing.
Supervise your children whilst they are online. Sitting with or near your children make them less likely to visit adult sites and chat rooms.
Check your browser history, Internet Explorer has a small button on the toolbar which looks like a tiny clock with a green arrow over the top. By clicking on it you can see up to 1 month of websites that have been visited by your browser.
Keep your software up to date; Check the links below for Internet Filtering programs.

Always remember that you are the best internet protection that your child can have. No filtering program is foolproof or 100% accurate. Educate your children on the dangers of the internet, especially stranger danger in chat rooms.
